are you sure to select “constant frame rate” and 29.97 fps? I use handbrake also and it works perfectly for me.

That might be the key! I’ve tried Constant frame rate but forgot to do 29.97fps. I had it set at 30. Thanks for the info man!

Love this song and it was hard for me to say that it is good enough, but I think it is quite OK now. This is also a song that we are going to play with my new band.

Yes!
Great job on one of my favorite melodic bass parts in rock music!
Not an easy one, but so damn satisfying to pull off those killer outro fills.
Not to mention that bridge!
Kudos and high fives.

OK, here’s my go at this one. This was a first take at the end of a long workday without any warmup at all, so dumbfounded as I was that I got all the way through it, I decided to just go with it. Boosted the volume a bit on the slap section. Probably should have gone with a J-Bass and rounds for this one, but it works.

Really really well done.

A bit bassy, maybe just from being too loud in mix for my tastes but played exceptionally well.

Thank you, @John_E ! No, you are right, it’s definitely bassy.

(I meant to record with the high-pass filter on my JHS preamp engaged. That’s what I test-recorded with. Somehow I recorded with it off, then mixed the video on speakers where it actually sounds just right. Totally missed it until afterwards.)
