Thanks Harrison! Either balls of steel or just plain stubborn stupidity :rofl: This song is still really tough for me, no matter what I play it on. One day Iā€™d like to clean it up, and will probably use a fretted bass. It was mentally exhausting trying to play in tune and keep up at the same time.

Hereā€™s my take on Hysteria by Muse. Itā€™s been a really long time since I played this song, so I had to spend some time re-learning a few of the trickier parts. After that, I ran through it one time at a few different tempos: 60bpm, 70bpm, 80bpm, and finally 93bpm.

Itā€™s not perfect, but I think it gives a good snapshot of where Iā€™m at with it right now. Iā€™m pretty happy with how it turned out, and Iā€™m confident that with a bit more practice, Iā€™d be solid enough to play this in a band setting.

For now, I think this is good enough to cross it off the list! Hope you all agree. :slight_smile: Have a great day!

I have been playing the bass for a couple months when I took the video but played guitar for some time (20 years or so).
I knew the riff on the guitar so it wasnā€™t hard to play it with a pick on the bass, but playing with fingers are much harder :slight_smile:
