I just started the lessons and now it’s time to try a song. When I went to the songs I was a little disappointed that all you hear is the bass part. The rest of the song is missing. Is that the case for all the songs?
Just curious. how are people using these to actually learn when you don’t have the rest of the band for context
Learning a song is a multi part process.
First, you need a reliable transcription to work from. That’s what these are.
Second, having the full song to play along with can be found all over the web.
Third, is having a song, with the bass removed, that you can play along with. For this last one, someone on the forum can probably help.

The full songs aren’t on there due to copyright. It is helpful to hear what the bass should sound like. I’ve done it where I have the tab pulled up on my iPad and play the song on YouTube or whatever music player on my phone.
Also there are a bunch of resources to be able to separate the bass tracks out. Moises is one I’ve used. I know others have used other ones that I can’t remember right now.
