I first learned Pretty Woman on guitar and never paid attention to the bass line till in later years I ended up playing bass for different adult bands. One of the songs I was asked to play was Pretty Woman which besides the much recognized lick, the bass line during the verses and bridge caught me by surprised for the very fun and enjoyable melodic movements. Still one of my favorites.

Yeah same here. I enjoy the bass line in this song more than the classic lick. Awesome bass part in this song. Definitely worth checking out!

Although a great bass line, I can never listen to this song due to Rush Limbaugh using it for so long. Ruined it.
