Hi @Al1885 any news about Spark NEO?

Come on! I would like to pull the trigger and I’m waiting for your last sentence.

I got mine last Monday. First I thought it’s ok, nothing special but at least I don’t need cables anymore. Than I tried the ai and now I love it. I never had waza to compare but the neo is comfortable even after 1-2h of playing or listening to tracks.

I’d say get it. It’s really good. And for the money if you need a headphones type practice tool this is a no brainer.

Let me know if you have a specific questions.

@BozzerWolf I totally agree with the Ai features. It makes lives easy. So far I like the Gallan Kruger and the fishman acoustic head. The Aguilar 500 is ok I guess.

Thanks for the reviews - just ordered mine from Sweetwater. Yay.

What does the AI do?
Does it play along with you or something?

The Ai help you find the tone.

For example, you can type in Cory Wong guitar, or Larry Carlton solo. It would give you 4 choices of sample then you can choose to assign that to the preset.

You can put in sledgehammer it would technically give you Tony Levin effect preset but I know, while it’s a great example the free Spark app does not come with octave effects.

@Al1885 @BozzerWolf last question: is it possible to use as an DAW/DAI? Can I record with Ableton/Cakewalk etc…?

No. You can’t do that on a Neo. You can do that on a Spark Go or Mini, and up but not on the Neo

This is the worst news that you could give me: I’ll hate you for ever.

Spark Go/Mini doesn’t support wireless headphones…

Only 2 models support wireless capabilities this is the cheaper one. You don’t need to record when wireless only practice. If you need a DAI just get one.

I got Motu M2, but I can’t play with wireless headphone :sob:

You can use it with this solution:

So you connect Lekato transmitter in output of M2 and receiver for headphones; Airborne transmitter on bass and receiver in input of M2.

Am I correct?

Yes, that’s exactly right!

If I had to buy again, I would (maybe) get a 5.8GHz device for the MS-1.
I did not notice any issues, but 5.8Ghz is much more resistant agaist WIFI issues…

Mmm yes I have thought about it (5.8Ghz). I’ll give a chance to this solution!

It’s really great! I used it a lot until I settled for my Zoom AMS-24…

I just bought the 5.8 GHz Lekato WS-50 wireless guitar system to go with my Xvive U2 2.4 GHz system. I wasn’t having any issues with the U2 here at home, but if I ever gig again, I thought it would be good to have both available.

So, I just got the Spark Neo and have been able to play around with it for a few hours on bass and guitar. I think it is fantastic. I do wish that you could also use it as a DAI and thus record with it, but alas it is just a practice tool. I can run some scales and play along with backing tracks or even do B2B lessons sitting on the couch while my wife is watching TV and I get no more side eye glances. Maybe we can use this thread to share some good setups.
