Finally got a chance to put on new strings and do a setup on the bass I bought earlier this month which apparently included a cat bed upgrade.
This bass is the only thing that’s ever made my behemoth of a 19.5 lb cat (8.85 kg) look small

I have one just like that, could be his twin! he is just shy of 20lbs, down from 22. He is very mellow, friendly and nice. The other 4 cats are not allowed near any bass or any other thing you want to keep hole-free!

Aww I do love giant kitties! Max is currently threatening violence against my houseplants because I took him to vet today for a checkup. But on the whole now that he’s older he’s pretty well behaved. He was an unhinged terror when he was young tho. I refer to the ages of 6 months-3 years as “the era of broken glass.”

At first it felt so moving to see a police dog all happy at meeting again his trainer. But then I noticed something weird about the video (the man is both taking off his belt and putting it on again, and the belt is still in place while at the same time hanging for a moment from his hand. It is an AI generated video, unfortunately.
It is sad that the Internet is getting filled with AI generated videos, and soon no one will be able to tell when something is real or not (and the political implications are obvious). I miss the good old times when we saw real videos of real dogs feeling happy to meet their old teachers.

Nice catch! I still love the sentiment. I’ll be generous and say that it was someone’s attempt to recreate something that actually happened but there was no video of.
