Actually…. yes and an excellent one

Big love from me for bass focused analog monosynths. Some all time greats out there, like the Sequential Prophet Pro-One, Minimoog Model D, and Oberheim OB-1. The Novation stands up well with them. Some history:

Outstanding DAW plugins exist for all of these now if you’re interested.

Let’s not forget the Moog Taurus. When Geddy Lee started using one, I got hooked.

The GForce Bass Station VSTi is very good.

Dude this thing brings back nightmares for me. I did the 2 tier keys with this bass pedal even a simple dong reading three parts was tough and playing them was even worse.

For a 10 year old anyway :joy:

Behringer makes an outstanding clone right now but you need to buy the controller separately. Still, yes, the Taurus is another killer bass monosynth

Yep I love their stuff, the only place I would go for Oberheim plugins for sure.

These are also basses, but dombra basses.

These two are acoustic, but I did see some with piezo pick ups, making those electric bass dombras :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Originally the “Electric Bass” was called a “Guitar Bass” or “Sit Down Bass”

Lol, not it has not. It drifted quite far from where I expected it to go when I first posted. I hope everyone enjoyed the ride.
