Hey guys. we bought these Fender strap locks off Amazon, but the top one keeps falling off. was doing a lesson (currently at module 10 for those wondering), and had to constantly reattach it. Super annoying!! Weirdly enough, the bottom one is perfectly fine.
Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Hi there,
The top one has much more trouble staying attached, so it’s normal that you have issues with that one.
Check if the opening in the strap itself is frayed. You can do that by taking it off and reattaching it. If it’s easy breezy, the strap hole might be worn.
If you have the security locks, a picture would be great. If you have simple strap buttons, try the rubber washers. You can buy a flip top bottle and use those rubbers.
In my picture, you can see that the washer is bent upwards, which is no good (it’s slipping off itself). You can try another strap button, like the Gotoh EP-B3.
