String Suggestions for Fender Mustang Player 2 PJ Bass?

Looking for string suggestions for my Fender Mustang Player 2 PJ. Luthier put on Ernie Ball P02852 Regular Slinky Nickel Wound 45-105 and I’m not loving the sound. Thinking maybe I want to switch to flats. Open to any and all suggestions though. TIA!

I use D’Addario ECB81S on my Mustang. I have had them for about three years now. The Mustang in the earlier years came with flats on them.

Excellent choice, from your posts about strings I’m inclined to believe you want more of a vintage sound. I have a bass with the D’Addario ECB82’s just a heavier 81’s. I’d try either of these.

Ended up getting the La Bella Deep Talkin’ Flats and WOW. What a difference. I’m in love!
