Yeah, you get these distressingly often.
A floor, it it isn’t too trafficky is ugly, but not too bad.
I was doing a reno once as a contractor, and after we chipped off the plaster, the wall had been built out of bricks with a seam running floor to ceiling. No anchors into the concrete below or above, no anchors between the two lengths of wall. Outside wall, third floor.

I was so close to do it that way in my shed because for the lack of better term, a moron and didn’t know anything, luckily my brother just finished it for me, lol.
