…and they still charge for shipping!
I know!,…$700 to ship.
If I’m paying $1M for a bass, it better arrive in an armored car with armed security.
(Did you notice that there was no mention of insurance for this thing??)
Let’s not exaggerate… it’s not exactly $1M … (LOL) ![]()
I’ve got the $2.02 cents,…that should help.

Maybe they need to be a little more flexible on the price?
I’m about to list my one of a kind Fender sub brand made in an exotic orient for $30k but I don’t want a rush of offers.
it’s not the most expensive till someone bought, it just has the most number.
I should post my Johnson by AXL bass for 1.1 million and see if I get any bites ![]()
Is it terrible that I think it’s as ugly as sin? I think the clash between the (nice) wood and the blue is truly horrible! To be clear I think it’s a lovely blue and gorgeous wood but just not together!
And my goodness this bit of description is worse than the worst, pretentious wine tasting descriptions I think I’ve ever seen: “When you play this bass you can literally feel the earth vibrate and your stomach rumble. It reaches so inside with its power and then takes you anywhere with its long low frequency and crisp notes. Each seems to bloom just outside the bass with a small explosion.”
Pass the bucket please!
There is literally nothing about that instrument that I like, it’s a big bag of disadvantages IMO.
Also if you go to their site, it gets even funnier.
The price is now 1.6 mil, and they break out the pseudoscience to describe “The Tree”.
Well it’s an acoustic, so as we know for the most part, they kind of suck ![]()
It is already listed for 7 years. Good luck selling that monstrosity. ![]()
Price is only worth it if you actually can combine the four elements and summon Captain Planet.
Does Reverb have any price controls beyond “what someone will pay?”
Maybe I should list the Squier Sonic P-Bass for $1.2 Million. Make myself a profit of a cool 1.18 million.
With that kind of money, I’d could buy 217 Jaydees like my cherry red Series 1.
I mean sure, there’s a lot of big money in the North Bay, but this is silly even by Marin and Sonoma county snobbing standards.
That thing is one hundred different kinds of ugly (IMHO). It appears that there was no thought in making everything “work” in the design.
Note that they stated that they were not involved with Tom Ribbecke. When I first saw the pic, that’s who I immediately thought of. Tom is one of the finest archtop instrument builders out there. This instrument is an obvious rip off of his designs.
That’s just wrong. It’s as if Ed Roman came back to life.
Oh yeah, Happy new year to all!
…Ed Roman,…haven’t heard that name in years.
