A while back he made a BBC Radio 2 documentary called Third Reich and Roll, presented by Stephen Fry, and I recently dove into it head first.
I checked, it’s not up on the beeb 
Pretty amazing all the capital for R&D. After the war debt from WWI, you have to scratch your head and wonder where it all came from.

A combination of deficit spending (Mefo Bills etc) pre war and during the war large supply of slave labour from occupied territories.

His rant was both very funny and very spot on at the same time. “Every Brit living today who was alive during the war was effectively fighting on the side of Germany.”
