You’ve got to check out Michael League, the Bassist and band leader for Snarky Puppy, the dude has an epic bass face.
When you’re as good at bass (and putting together the best band in the last decade) as him, you can make any face you want.
@gottaplay oh…absolutely! Snarky Puppy is amazing.
We must develop our “playing faces” right along with our other technical skills.
Today I learned that Snarky Puppy and Skinny Puppy are two different bands. And that I really like Snarky Puppy! Thanks @jefflangford67 !
Are they though? Have you ever seen Snarky Puppy and Skinny Puppy in the same room together?
Snarky Puppy: better beards
Skinny Puppy: better hair
Surprised so many people here know Skinny Puppy! Their music isn’t exactly accessible to most.
I just heard them played in a club last weekend. Apparently, Gen Z is getting into all the old goth/industrial bands.
My favorite band for 35 years now
I’m 100% here for that. My Gen Zers grew up with Skinny Puppy though. I think to them, it’s just boomer music.
Crazy, more way more Gen X music. But that is the forgotten generation.
It’s cool, we’re used to it. We like it that way.
Agree, I hate all that generational fighting that gets pushed by social media.
Plus, well, as a generation we were forgotten as kids, so it’s not like a new thing for us
