The Ugly Duckling/Freak Thread

Those are pretty awesome. Love crossovers like that.

ESP makes a lot of stuff like that - they do many tie-ins with Japanese media here. Their current tie-ins are with “BanG Dream!”, an anime/real-life crossover about a high school full of bands.

The instruments are usually super good too.

That red BTL Roselia model is amazing. They have Grassroots/LTD versions too, so you don’t need to drop $5k on them.

It’s a guitar/organ…for some reason

Easier solution:

Lots of synth pedals would work for this actually. In fact I would be surprised if your Source Audio didn’t.

Not in 1976 is isn’t.
I love all this old tech and how useless it now is due to pedal tech. Of course pedals back then could have done similar but they were huge.

I would play that

I think Rick Nielsen has something like that. He’s got some weird schizzle

That’s the one I was thinking of, but I know he has several like that in different colors. He did an interview a few years ago where he showed off his collection…had some really unique guitars.

Yeah both he and Bun E. Carlos have opened museums for their instrument collections. Cool guys from a cool band.

Rick’s museum is only an hour away from me

You know, if there’s one guy on the planet that deserves this thing…

But then we’d all have to click the Like button to make his bass return to normal…

I think you’re too hard on the guy. I mean, you have to take what he says cum grano salis, or cum kilogramo salis as the case may be, but isn’t that the truth about anything on the interwebs or legacy media these days?
