Boy, do I have an ugly one for you guys. It doesnā€˜t look very real, maybe it was animated, but I just googled ugly basses, and this was the ultimate cherry on top of the cake :nauseated_face::

Thanks to this forum any previous feeling of GAS was stopped once I stepped foot in here, and future GAS impulses have been prevented!

LOL good find.

The looks are very Warhammer 40K which I guess doesnā€™t have to be bad, but the way that P pickup is split is gonna sound horrifically bad - that positioning is playing in to the weakness of both the low end mud and the high end tinniness. Eww.

I canā€™t explain it but I have a strange, bewildering attraction to the Longhorn bass. I am not out of the closet on it yetā€¦ but it is there lying dormantā€¦ waiting for a cheap one to pop up on an auction site at 2 am when I have had a few drinks.

@matt.g.ward.esq I had a Danelectro Longhorn bass when I was in a band. Itā€™s great. Super comfy to play, standing or sitting, and it has a proud monster tone. :+1:
