I don’t think @howard has any streams, I have 3 on the other hand.
Indeed. I have wanted that red one ever since I found it. It’s one of the coolest designs I have ever seen.
That red is also discontinued, unfortunately.
They do a different red on the E-II’s. Looks good too:
That one is up for sale for $1200, not bad.
These are really cool. They don’t deserve at all to appear in this thread, they are worthy of a show-off, for me. They have personality. The light one appeals to me.
I have never seen one in person (since I am a real beginner I don’t have a good experience), but I won’t even ask if they “sound good” since, if you have 3, of course you like them
Yeah in my post I was using them as an example of unusual styles that I think look really cool.
I meant what I said in that post - I’d rather have one of those (or an SBV like mine, or a Billy-Bo, and so on) than any product Fender, Gibson, or the other standard “classic” manufacturers have ever made.
Edit: nothing to see here but me acting like an idiot, move along
We’re going to hsve to disagree on this. The sheet metal has super sharp edges, if you’re not careful you’ll slice a hand open on it. The wiring is exposed. Looks wise it’s pretty cool; but it’s just not functional.
We were talking about the Streams
D’oh. I’m an idiot.
Yes the streams are cool, and more than looking cool, they are surprisingly playable. I love mine, so much I am culling some of the Other Guys basses today
Since you clarified that you were referring to the “custom 10” ones, I have to disagree with you… they don’t even look “cool” IMO! They look ragged pieces of metal and wood… they look strange, not cool.
My first thought was: tadpole
Flocci non facio
Sed aliquis facit
This reminds me of school, standing in front of the chalkboard trying and failing to remember 1st, 2nd and 3rd singular and plural - present, imperfect, future, perfect, pluperfect and future perfect
“Conjugate the verb boy!”
amo, amas, amat, amamus, amatis, amant
Happy days
Anyone ever seen anything like this?
So, it’s a solid body U-Bass stealing its design aesthetic from the Fernandes Zo (Elephant).
The Zo is cuter, 30", and has a built-in amp/speaker
I guess that’s what you do when all you have is two heads and a neck
Surely if they’re going to pick an animal with a long neck then I’d have gone for giraffe? No?
That’s it’s nose
The LED is it’s eye
