It looks like the first piece was that jack then the palm rest but the horns/body starts to get rougher and then the body where the bridge connects looks like a piece of scrap wood. If those last 2 parts were as sculped as the first 2 it could be really pretty. Does the pickup and jack slide? Maybe that’s the reason the bridge piece is so flat.

The pup can slide and lock down to any position along the rail (pup/jack are a subassembly). The armrest is removable/swappable.

Is that 3 truss rods in the back?

I think those are solid body tensioners. I’d guess to keep the bridge end from flopping too much since it’s floating out there without any other support.

eye & eye turnbuckle I guess is what they’re actually called:

if the body weren’t a solid shaft…
