I’m currently learning the bass line to Grease Box by Tad. I was hooked by the beat but the lyrics are pretty powerful in my opinion.
I can’t really know what the writer was really thinking or saying but it definitely stirred something inside.
It’s dark but I’m grateful that it’s relatable to a previous version of myself.
I think in terms of thought provoking songs, few do it better than Napalm Death. I really love reading interviews with Barney. The man just has a machine-gun mouth, but it’s usually never boring what comes out.
