A federal jury ruled earlier this week that Live Nation / Ticketmaster is an illegal monopoly. Not sure what the next steps are in this:
(There is an older thread discussing frustrations with Ticketmaster. I decided to start a new thread to share the important headline.)
The jury found that Ticketmaster charged a total of $1.72 per ticket in excess. I don’t think this will be the change in the industry people want.
even if the amount was bigger, would not change anything sadly
