I replaced the tone and volume pots in a Yamaha RBX260. Wired it exactly like Yamaha did.
My troubles are when you turn the volume down to zero. It still produces sound.
What did I do wrong with the wiring.
I haven’t played much with pots on a bass but are they the same resistance value?
Yes everything is exactly the same as the original wiring. The picture is the same bass as the one I’m working on.
Check your ground wire connections again.
Ok… I definitely will do that. I had the same problem a few years ago.
