Trying to learn Message of Love

Holy crap! This song is really tough on bass. Never realized Noel Redding was such a beast! I know this is songsterr but sometimes you can’t find anyone on youtube or the proper tab. LOL

But take a look at what he’s doing! It’s quite amazing in my book. Now I am a noob on base so probably doesn’t take much for me. LOL But I can usually spot a true musician.

Here’s the song for reference. Our band just put this on our work list. So, I’m struggling a bit. Any tips???

I may need to edit this. This might be Billy Cox and not Noel Redding. Both great bassist though.

A lot of Hendrix songs have interesting bass lines.

Mine is defaulting to “Fretless Bass”, but if you change the instrument to “Electric Bass” it is much simpler, though still no cake walk.
