So, a few weeks ago, I was at the SBL Blueprint Live event in London. Basically, around 70 or so aspiring bass students, who have signed up for SBL’s Blueprint program, together for workshops and jams etc.
There was a raffle, too. I have never won anything in a raffle in my life, but this time… well, it was the main prize, and it is this bass here that belonged to Mr SBL himself:
It’s a “custom-made” RKM from Mexico, and the “funny” thing is, this is about as far away from my bass preferences as you can get 
It doesn’t tick any of the boxes I would normally go for (type, pups, looks, finish, …).
The bass wasn’t at the venue in London, and it’s being shipped to me. Despite the fact that it might be the last bass I’d pick up myself, I do look forward to getting it (it’s en route, and/or in customs) and I will probably be surprised by how it plays and sounds. When I get it, I will update accordingly on the “Show us your basses” thread
