Exactly. We like butter so much we even invented fake butter for people who think it is healthier.

Well technically the French invented it but their version was much better, made from beef fat. The US invented the garbage oil-based version.

Give the podcast a listen they explain it all. It’s a great show. I had no idea the butter lobby was so strong. Crazy Wisconsin laws!

Keto coffee aside… 22 years… I have yet to see butter on a sandwich outside my own house. And yes, I butter my PBJ’s :stuck_out_tongue:

For sandwiches the usual form it takes is that we fry them in the butter. Grilled ham and cheese on rye is an old school favorite.

And then there’s stuff like cinnamon toast.

By the way, doesn’t everyone put butter or margarine on their sandwiches? We Dutch don’t know any better. I mean, how else would you get your hagelslag to stick to the bread?

Ah … got the very same bass. But with metal strings. It’s laying around as it was used for travelling for some time and I don’t use it anymore.
Wanted to sell it … but you make me wann reconsider. Playing that bass looks soooooo chilled :slight_smile:

Oh hey, I used to live very close to there. I’ve walked around that area (on the lakeshore side) a lot. Sounds like he put that up a couple years after I moved to Japan. Dangit, would have liked to see that :rofl:
