Hi guys, I’m new here
I’m wondering if you can follow the course ok on a ukulele bass?
Just ordered mine a couple of days ago and I can’t wait to get started
I see some mentions of it on the forum already, but its not clear to me if people are playing just uke bass or they have an electric bass as well
Cheers

Yes of course, they are smaller so it’s a little harder to play technical stuffs but if you are starting everything is harder

No worries @kalkulus ! They sound just as good as some of the big boys.

mmmm … sorry but I can’t really agree. the U-Bass is super-cool for sure but it won’t feel like a “normal” bass. Not sure it’s the best choice for the course.

There we go, trust the French to bring down the mood
The U Bass might just be the gateway drug to a lifetime of bass GAS?

Well he’s right - it is much smaller. It won’t be the same as a 34" scale. The concepts are the same though.

I think it’s supposed to be a baguette but it looks like a hot dog bun

This isn’t helping. I still want a baguette, ideally with some brie and jambon, and butter. A jambon-beurre used to be one of my favorite lunches
Popular in Tokyo actually, probably due to Joel Robuchon.

Now that I think about it I would not be surprised if this were a US or Canadian invention either, we put butter on everything

Canadian maybe…
The USA does not understand how to make a proper sandwich. It ALWAYS starts with butter, irrespective of what other condiments you plan on putting on it.

Oh no, trust me, in the US butter is in our blood. I know of people that even put butter in their coffee.
