Under the Northern Star picking rhythm?

I cannot for the life of me figure out if the bassist is picking 3 note groups or four note groups in the fast bassline part of this song (bar 65)
Songsterr shows 3 note groups: Under The Northern Star Bass Tab by Amon Amarth | Songsterr Tabs with Rhythm but after watching many covers and slowing down the original track, it feels like the drum is going 1-2-3-4 1-2-3-4 etc. Thoughts?

Not sure the tab is correct, but those are triplets. Josh talks to these in Lesson 10 Module 6. Take a look at that lesson and then I would go back to the song and see if it makes sense.

Almost sounds like it should maybe be straight eighth notes…

I hadn’t bothered with note beaming yet… Seems there are rules, at least for standard notation

So it’s basically straight eighth notes at the beginning like @Sully indicated.
[edit] I didn’t read the question correctly, so nevermind my ramblings
It seems to be straight eighth notes though.

The Songsterr version of the tabs seems however to diverge from the UG “official” one. Here’s what I get for the bars 64-66 :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

And they write it for a 5-string bass, BEADG tuning…
