Morning! Just got the mail. There is new stuff in the pipeline, for the channel and the course. Interesting ![]()
That is interesting. I didn’t get the email. Does it say anything else? Timeline? What to expect?
Josh from BassBuzz here—long time no email! 👋

Yes, Josh please keep sending me BassBuzz content!
Much excitement. Thanks for sharing @simon_c
This is awesome. I only bought B2B earlier this year and I am on my 2nd pass. I love the way Josh teaches and I was wondering where to go next when I saw Josh’s YouTube video on what to learn on bass in what order. I hoped he might do a follow up course covering all that off but it looked like people have been waiting a long time for a follow up so I did’n’t hold much hope. I would be great if we get something this year!
Didn’t get the email, but excited for more content.
I hate to be a buzzkill, but that almost sounds like spam… some kind of phishing attempt. Especially given that others didn’t get the email. Did you validate Josh sent it and that the links in the email are valid?
@JoshFossgreen, can you chime in if that email actually came from you or not?
I agree.
Unless @JoshFossgreen says otherwise, this type of news would have been splashed and rehashed on the forum. ![]()
idk, i was sceptical too, but the hello@bassbuzz.com address looks legit![]()
Is that the ACTUAL address? Or the address the email says it’s from? Spam addresses will often have something like…
From: hello@bassbuzz.com [hello@bassbuzz.somethingsomethingsomething.com]
Exactly. It’s best practice to click the From: email address to see the actual sender’s address.
I got that email too. I checked the headers code and it was sent from hello@bassbuzz.com
Also, the email account I use for BassBuzz is one I only use for BassBuzz and no one else has it. It is very unlikely someone could have guessed it. Someone would have to hack the BassBuzz server to find it and know it is connected to BassBuzz.
I tend to think it must be legit, but I will wait to see if Josh answers to this thread. It is strange only some of us got an email. It is possible it ended up in people’s spam folder. ?
I just did a deep search in my email client, and there’s nothing from hello@bassbuzz.com except for a few from several years ago.
Yes, that email is the one connected to the course, not the forum. All the previous messages I got from it were related to the Beginner to Badass course purchase, and when Josh or Gio replied to my messages in the course lessons.
It also crossed my mind that it could be an automatic message, considering it was just over a year ago that I started the course.
Maybe @JoshFossgreen can tell us whether the message is legit or not.
The emails my search revealed were exclusively about the B2B course, not anything to do with the forum.
Bottom line: If @JoshFossgreen sent out an email to all course enrollees, I definitely didn’t receive it.
My guess is that some of you have a box checked somewhere that gives you those email notifications. I don’t have record of any hello@BB emails received either
My thing is with this line:
That really doesn’t sound like something Josh would say. Especially to email addresses that are taking his course/registered on his forum/subscribed to his YouTube channel. It just doesn’t feel right.
Hopefully, I’m wrong.
This is almost assuredly the case.
hello@bassbuzz.com is legit. If it is actually from that address, it’s legit.
@Bassbot Spam or not spam?
