Videos not playing

Hello,
im just returning after a short break but my videos are not playing anymore, not even displaying. There is just a blank spot where the video should be.
I tried Firefox and Chrome as browser.

Can someone give me a hint whats happening here? Before it worked for me flawlessly

Do you have an example? According to the forum software this is your first post using this account, so it’s hard to find any videos you posted before.

Edit: SESAC isn’t the issue. I’m in the US and can access the B2B videos.

To be clear, are you talking about the Lesson videos?

Yes we are talking about the lesson videos.
I have not encountered the same issue in other webplayer like youtube, twitch etc.

There is just no player for me. The space is just blank.

Possibly this is due to an ad blocker! I have this issue with Malwarebytes and/or Bitdefender enabled on that site…

EDIT If you are using Chrome or Edge, press F12 and look at the console messages. It will give an indication what went wrong…

I deactivated the adblocker, didn’t change anything. Worked with the addblock before.

F12 shows the following errors:

Hmmm … this is the issue.
Can you try Firefox … it’s not based on Chromium and should display a different behaviour!

Chrome/Windows/latest version works for me. Location: Germany/Europe

Sorry not much help but I’ve tried with Firefox, Chrome and Edge and they all work fine.

Could it be some sort of geographic restriction?

Or it might be worth clearing your cache; the “net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED” error is typically caused by outdated data in your cache.

Vimeo works on Chrome.

I have the same issue with firefox:

Uncaught Error: The player element passed isn’t a Vimeo embed.

Just tried a couple and they work also here.

Stupid idea… but try with Incognito ?

Have you tried clearing the cache? If you have out of date cache data stored for the link to the videos then that could be causing the problem.

Deleting Cache and also Incognito didn’t do anything, tried it with chrome and firefox.
It’s really weird, because I have no issues on other sites, even on Vimeo directly. Was first thinking of a graphic driver issue (i’m using AMD)

Are you absolutely sure that no ad blocker is running? As a chrome extension perhaps?

You could try to install a very exotic (but good) browser like mullvad browser and try it with that.
This makes sure that no extension is running…

I have these settings:

I have no other suggestions then, other than maybe try messaging Josh directly.

Intersting, mulvard is actually working. So it has to be something with chrome and firefox. Only thing I can think of they have in common is a ublock origin and bitwarden extension.
But on mulvard ublock is also installed in standard and it is working with it running

You could try disabling ALL extensions on Chrome and then enable them again one by one. Refresh the page and see what happens…
Please do that in “Extensions|Manage Extensions”.

Disabling all didn’t fix the problem unfortunately

Maaaaaaan! WTF?
Last try: that’s the latest version of Chrome & Windows? All updates done?

And: did you try to switch the PC off and on?
