Warwick Streamer V Corvette

I have owned two Streamers. I really really wanted to love them but I just could not gel with them, they just did not fit me well at all.

I need to actually go to a shop and try a Streamer and a Corvette to see what I like in terms of sound and feel, but generally, what are the noticeable differences between them?

The Rockbass Corvette Basic and Streamer Standard are pretty much the only two readily available in Australia in my price range and other than the body shape, the main difference seems to be Active J/J pickups vs Passive Humbuckers.

I love Warwick for their outrageous body and epic horns like the Fortress the Dolphin, Covette and even lack there off like the Thumb bass. The Streamer, however is like a Spector or the Mainstream body type.

Pickups and electronics vary depending on the configuration my $$ has interesting setup with series/ single and Parallel with the 2 band eq.

My Katana share the same electronic control with Streamer stage one and two. 3 band eq with passive active and pan.
