Well, here it is. The recording setup can best be described as “improvised” and the audio and video aren’t totally in sync - but I didn’t want to let that get in the way of getting started.

This is my first cover so let me know what you think.

Great job! You seem to have excellent pinky control. Still domesticating mine.

I thought the audio and video were in sync. At least good enough for this purpose.

Love the bass color and tone you are putting out.

For your first cover, you did amazing!

Great job @GanglyCloth! I didn’t see any sync issues. Good mix as well.

The Hofner is getting a workout during practice sessions. It will be showcased soon, maybe not on 50S 100W challenge, but on the Post Your Covers thread.

Sounding great @GanglyCloth!
Yes, I am very jealous of your pinky and its ability to reach things it wants!

A couple of timing/plucking misses, but hopefully nothing major. Still some volume differences between the E and A strings. Tried to fix/minimize those using the compressor. Let me know what you think!

Hey @skydvr, nope, not simplified!

That’s the only “double note” thing in that tune, as indicated in the chart.

Nice job @MattHinchliffe,
few errors along the way, that’s how we get better, more repetition improves playing long term,
Nice tone,
