What are you listening to right now?

Su and the Neutrinos

Love me some Overkill. Jersey sons are one of the hardest working bands out there. DD did not have his very distinct bass tone on the early stuff, but this a just thrash perfection.

New from the fluffy band from Hell.

The only band I know of with daycare backstage to watch the kids while they play

New from Julia, I mean, Thomann’s

Playing around with Drumazon and I be all

TR-909, baby

Seriously my favorite drum machine of all time. Even more than the 808.

Drumazon 2 is pretty awesome, if anyone is looking for an old school drum plugin. Very high fidelity to the 909 it models. Get your Daft Punk on

Sometimes I forget how good she was. What a loss.

just a tragedy. the best thing the sisters ever did was temple of love and that was pretty much single handedly because of her.

It kind of cracks me up that for this “official” music video, Eldritch pillaged two of his own earlier videos, and also Ofra’s videos for “Im Nin’ Alu” and “Galbi”.

“how to make videos cheaply”

still one of those songs that makes me go damn. i wish i could write that.

Definitely. Eldritch deserves a lot of the shit he gets but in the end he is a genius.

And of course she was one of a kind.

This is on my IPod work mix playlist. A lovely remix of an Aretha song.

“I get up out of bed, I put on my clothes, cos I’ve got bills to pay”

Super cool Crystal Method box set I didn’t know existed til last week. Guy also threw in a signed copy on one of the albums. Box is signed by them as is laminate, also comes with USB drive with all the albums and extra EPs. I was only after Tweekend but it’s so rare it cost ~80% of what I got this for.

I’m gonna need some ecstasy and a glow stick.

Side note - if you’re going to work on a crisp Fall / Autumn morning then the tunes sound so much better with a Milwaukee heated vest!!

SWEET. Vegas is such a good album, in a way one of the GOATs.

They are certainly one of the best things ever @Barney :+1:

New Sulphur Aeon finally dropped. Blackened death metal, very atmospheric though. As always, lyrics are rooted in Lovecraft universe (big Lovecraft fan here) and the music ties it together very well.

Blast from the past, reminds me of high school. New Romantic classic.

Midge Ure’s band before Ultravox. Not him singing there though (that’s Steven Strange, basically the father of the New Romantic movement, later famous again as a Trance producer and club owner in Ibiza).

Never knew Steve Strange got into the dance scene

Yeah I think it was mostly as an organizer and club owner, with some production
