This one even more so, my favorite band, really; and it even has bass. Very nicely played fretless bass.
The bass part pulled out for those who can’t get in to this

It just hit me to play Shadowplay earlier tonight. RIP
Disorder is my go to and I’ll probably hit it up tonight
“Don’t google mommy!” - that is Taylor Swift, right?
In that other thread we were talking about not taking things literally? Doesn’t apply to this song. As much as I know about her career, this looks autobiographical.
I read somewhere that Taylor Swift also writes autobiographical songs, mostly about her many many ex-boyfriends and love life in general?! So the lyrics could fit??!
I have to admit that I don’t know if I have ever heared a Swift song. And if I have - I must have forgotten it.
In this respect “Don’t google mommy!” must be better than anything Swift has ever done - cause it made me listen and I still remember it … 10 minutes later!
Is Riki Lindhome also a Billionaire (as she should!)?
Riki is a comedian and actress, and with Kata Micucci form the musical group Garfunkel and Oates. Doubt they’re billionaires, but both are moms now (with their respective husbands)
Ab, I know the girl on the left from Scrubs, right?
(Don’t you EVER tell anybody that I have watched Scrubs!!!).
Everybody does this. “Layla” by Clapton is about George Harrison’s wife. “Something” by the Beatles is about the same woman. Really common.
Ans Swift writes for a different demographic than you and I.
Don’t know - my gf says I’m a horse girl ![]()
(Cause I love horses and get all giggly when I am with them!)
Does that not make me perfect for being a Swift fan?
I like Dido, for example.
She is like Swift, only with better music, lyrics and general aura. Of course she does not have that shiny sparkly nothings to wear. Maybe that’s it?
I have a lot of respect for Swift. Not my kind of music, but genius songwriter. And all around good person. She tipped all the truck drivers on her last tour $100k each for example.
The only ding I can make against Swift is she lacks the flaws that make someone likeable.
I’ve liked what I’ve heard from Dido, and she’s more my cup of tea.

Compare music, lyrics, singing and charisma…
Tapping out on this one. I don’t say artists are better than others.
I don’t like Swifts music, but I recognize that she tells a story and connects with her music better than anyone else in music today. I don’t like her music but I respect her.
Hahahaha, yeah sorry for moping around about this.
Taylor Swift is in Germany right now and even in my favourite f#cking liberal left-wing woke press I am reading about her. Like she is the women liberation goddess par excellence… The Simone de Beauvoir of pop music, argh!
She makes me want to listen to the most dirty punk I can find in the trashbag of my music collection and eat catfood out of a can while drinking fracking water and smoking old socks!
I just listened to some Swift songs, and in food terms her music is like a luke warm McDonalds hamburger to me, while Dido’s music is like a good Schnitzel, like my grandma used to make.
But please ignore me! I know, American majorities cannot be wrong ![]()

I take solace in the fact that Swifties lost their minds when Swift released an album in 2019, and the only reason it didn’t debut at #1 is because Tool released Fear Inoculum. And it was #1
