Saiki is also singing the songs in Osaka-ben (the Osaka dialect of Japanese, quite different than Tokyo’s style.)
They did a whole album of this as Band Maiko as a tribute to their roots.

Not quite. “Secret Maiko Lips” was, but when it took off they recorded the rest of the EP as a tribute.
Basically they were victims of their own success because their joke was too awesome. It made it up to #11 on Billboard Japan.
