By Jove, @Mac - a quick perusal of Wikipedia confirms your theory . Indeed, Filthy Animal departed soon after Another Perfect Day. Your motorknowledge is spot on
I put together a new Spotify playlist, Delicious Bass Part 2 - Also check out Delicious Bass Part 1 - Look for Delicious Bass Part 3 in the future!
I’ve been doing a bit of digging into the band recently @Ed especially around the “ Born to Loose/ Out to Lunch” bass controversy
Hack was a really, really underrated album. Glad those guys are still doing stuff. Will Loconto is doing cool stuff as T-42 now too.
And of course The White Room - nothing needs to be said there. One of the best and most important albums in electronic music history. Jimmy Cauty and Bill Drummond are heroes of mine.
Poppy on vinyl though - that might degrade the experience
Well, this (the controversy) was new to me so I thought I’d dig into it a little and that’s a real interesting can of worms you’re opening up! Man, Ricks went through so many design changes…
And Lemmy wasn’t adverse to modding stuff himself either @Ed
She’s wicked collectible and her stuff skyrockets in value, so if nothing else, investment. Lol
Totally amazing from the first time I ever heard it. I never could understand why it didn’t take the world by storm.
I know it’s not bass, but I cannot get over how incredibly skilled Tim Henson is. Watching this is indescribable. Repeated the video five times and it just gets more impressive
Okay, now they have me confused. Everyone in the band released a new years video, including the current bass player and a past bass player. So what’s the lineup? Only the fox god knows
LOVE this!!
One of my favourite bass lines to mess around playin, this and Malibu
Janet Kay’s Silly Games, popped up on my YouTube recommendations earlier today. Pure nostalgia trip music, as it was a big hit when I was a kid. Couldn’t find a tab, so this may very well be my first transcription.
Can’t stop listening to this!! Blown away the first time I heard it! Just works! And that Marcus just looks and sounds
Rise Against, and The Dollyrots, fairly simple but pretty fun bass lines to play
I love that song so much, from the very first line. “And the sky was made of amethyst…”
His whole channel is amazing.

Movie trivia - the blonde ingenue in the top video is Gloria Stuart, Rose as a senior from Titanic. The Old Dark House is the movie, and a good one.
