If you’d consider taller stool then IKEA is one of the better choice, it’s solidly built. I have 3 and they are seem bulletproof so far as the matter of fact I used it at the SoCal BassBuzz meet up and it great.

funny you should mention this cuz there’s a chair I’ve been jonesing after for a really long time. I love rocking chairs and there’s one made with no arms on it. it’s commonly called a nursing rocker but sometimes called a pickin chair because the neck of your bass won’t hit the arms of it. as for right now I just use a wood stool.

That also a great idea…who doesn’t like to rock…when you’re…rockin’ ?! 
I tend to almost lean forward into the bass…likely cuz I suck and need to look at the fretboard…but once I ‘get’ the riff, I can noodle along resting back.
Comfort for my back is important - I had some vertebrae fusing back in the day - so I get fidgety quick.
