Index-Pinky for almost everything. Move Index to G (D string 5th fret) for that section. Move index to F (A string 8th fret) for that section, and use Index, ring, pinky for Chorus. You’ll need to joint bar for a lot of this as well. Edit: I’m not sure I could play this at 146 bpm btw…Edit, maybe use ring/pinky on some of those multi string parts that land on the pinky? Ex. A, D, G (5th fret)
At 146 bpm? That’s a beast. I’d probably experiment with using ring/pinky for some of those multi-string parts too—it might feel smoother and save the pinky from doing too much heavy lifting.
How do you finger the part in the sax solo (around bar 47) that shifts up a fourth, going from key of Bm to Em? The sequence that goes E, E, B, E,B, D, E, G. I’m starting on the 7th fret of the A string, 9th on G string, 9th on D string, 7th fret of the A string, 7th fret of the E string, 5th fret on A string, 7th fret of the A string, 5th fret on D string, and the repeat.
I just can’t find a fingering that feels right. I’ve been using index for first E, then pinky, ring, index, middle, index, middle, index. Then when I repeat, I use the middle for the E on the next bar. I’ve try starting with middle for the first E, but neither feels right.
Are you sure your not mixing the order of the fingers on the G and D strings? I learned it pinky on G and ring on D. Those two notes are also swung eighth notes, so I roll my hand which allows me to spend a bit more time with my pinky, and a quick note with my ring, and the index on the A string.
