What games are you playing on your phone or tablets?

For something more relaxing, I like playing solitaire. It’s perfect for unwinding and taking a break from the more intense games.

I’ve been playing old, classy card games on my phone a lot lately.

Solitaire has been my favorite game for years.

Every morning I do the daily Wordscapes, Wordscapes in Bloom and Wordstacks puzzles on my Kindle to see if I am awake.

Just finally graduated to The NY Times crossword puzzles. Some weeks Sunday is a breeze, some weeks I feel like a dope. I can get through Mon-Wed fine, Thursday struggle starts, Friday and Saturday are ominous.

No phone games for me anymore. I can’t with the pay to win climate that we are living in atm. Only thing I use my phone for now is Reddit, BB forum and Duolingo. I’m on a 940 day streak. I’m doing French, Italian and math. They also have a music section now.

yeah man that pay to play model is getting old. The problem with console is that one, it takes a lot of time and two, it doesn’t cross platform. I love the PS5 but I also have the Xbox X series same game with different profile.

Duolingo has math? Do they go as high as Diff Eq? I need to brush up

Yeah I hear ya. I used to be a big gamer, both with consoles and PC. I have an addictive nature and it’s easy for me to get sucked in and spend literally an entire day in a chair just playing. And I don’t want to do that anymore. We have a PS4 and the missus and me are enjoying a bit of Diablo 4. It helps that she gets tired a lot quicker than me when playing and I promised her we’d do the game together.

I cannot tell you, Howard, since I just started it not long ago. You can start beginner or intermediate. I was not sure what to expect so I started with beginner, but that really is beginner stuff. But check it out.

I am continuing to ignore diff eqs since that class and to the day I die.

That has worked great for me up until now when suddenly a lot of what I am doing in fun side projects involves them.

That’s right. I just used “fun” in the context of diff eq. College Me would be lmao.

Lol. I actually liked diff EQ because it was an alternative to integrals a lot of the time and I hated integrating.

Yeah the tradeoff here seems to be either lots of really gnarly work with trig identities and integrals such that no sane person would do this, or relatively simple diff eq with euler and complex numbers, which while definitely funky, is infinitely preferable.

I swear I did not mean that pun either.

:joy: , surly you are using them every day and not realizing it.

Man I wish I can play anything on the phone. It gets too small nowadays :joy: and I’m using 15 max. All games I play on iPad of all sizes from mini to M4 pro.

Don’t have a tablet. Only games I play on phone are solitaire and chess.
