In the effort to bring things back to topic, I would like to share a podcast that I’m listening to right now.
It’s an actual play, Table Top Role Playing podcast that some very hilarious and wonderful actors and improvisors put on. They are the punk-rock, underground of role-playing podcasts.
It’s a Cthulu-based game, and exists in a weird and twisted altered USA where things get creepy, bizarre, occult and hilarious.
ALSO… (plug time)… I’ve been a fan of this crew from their other works, and I’ve contributed music to their previous podcast.
So they approached me and asked me to do their theme for this podcast, and I did, and it came out freakin’ rad, and I love it.
So - with all that… back to podcasts here, and check out GUTTER.
It rules.
cannot believe this one has not been mentioned yet: “song exploder” is amazing — they break down an individual song with the artist, its a really excellent deep dive and they cover a lot of genres:
My most listened to podcast is probably Off Menu. It’s hosted by two British comedians (James Acaster is ace) and a guest each week picks their dream menu. I can’t stop thinking about food, so it’s perfect for me.
There have been some excellent/ridiculous classic episodes with entertaining guests.
