Pam, you were one of the first people to welcome me here. I wish i would have had the chance to know you the way others have. Sending you and your family much love and support for your new adventure! Ill play the bass in your honor tonight!
Love you Pam.
Thanks for being an example of the best parts of being human:
Boldness, big personality, opinions, kindness, joy, love, attitude - all the spark and power and tough that your brought into every post, every comment, every interaction.
You are wonderful, and my family and I send all our love to you and Sara.
Pam, you’ve been and continue to be nothing but an inspiration to this forum, your strength and courage through this cannot be understated. I’m forever grateful for the video you and John made, regarding recordings, it has helped me immensely on my journey. Thank you and godspeed.
Pam,
while most of us were incessantly yacking away about this and that, you were doing sh*t - whether bass related or life related. This is just one of the many aspects of you being an inspiration to me (and many in here).
Also, as the final curtain call draws near, I can’t imagine you having many “I wish I had done this” regrets - and that is even more inspirational.
Save me a seat in your celestial band - I will gladly play an Eagles tune with you
Thinking of you and your loved ones!
-Jörg
Sara, I apologize… I have had a very very long day and completely forgot about the emotions and the pain you might be going through.
Whatever Pam has gone through I am pretty sure that your love and support for her has made it easier and would’ve been much harder for her, would you not be there. Nowadays dedication and loyalty isn’t seen much, I admire you for all you did to her.
I just want to extend you love, strength and a MASSIVE THANK YOU for everything you have done for her.
A warm hug… and please if you feel down… remember our words and our love for you and PAM. Never be afraid to reach out!
Thank you!
Andre.
Hi Pam @PamPurrs
There is not much I can add to what all the lovely people already said, all I can say is my thoughts are with you and your loved ones, hope you have a peaceful journey to the other side, where we will all meet again
When I first started playing bass and began googling all those things I didn’t understand the most useful and informative finds were always in this forum and amongst those your posts always stood out, directly leading to my joining BassBuzz. For that introduction to this excellent community I’ll always be grateful and after joining my respect for your contributions and your wonderful welcoming attitude to one and all just kept growing.
You are an inspiration for bass playing and for life!
Pam,
You were one of the first BassBuzzers to welcome me to the forum. You inspired me to bet my Hofner after watching you play yours. Thank you for all your encouragement and the fun times on those first Zoom Live Hangs.
Be at peace and love to you and Sara.
Jerry
Pam, we never “spoke” but I want to sincerely thank you for your contributions here that I’ve found so valuable. Love to you and your dear ones.
Pam we never met in person but you’ve been a part of my life in this forum. I’ll always know you as the double bassist with the Hofner, the sweet bikes and the cool videos. My love to you and Sara, and ride free.
Pam. my first year here, 2 years ago, was enriched every time I had the opportunity to learn from you. Either directly by replies to my posts, or the many videos and posts you have everywhere here. I continue to learn from you.
You’re a permanent fixture in this community and we all love and appreciate you greatly.
I say this with every ounce of my being.
FUCK CANCER.
We will miss you, Pam.
I will miss you.
We will never have another Bad ASS Bass Gal like you.
Pam - We’ve never spoke or met, but I’ve certainly seen you around the bass community. Thanks for all that you’ve done to promote bass playing, and sharing your experiences and journey. You’re an inspiration. <3
I’m happy to know you @PamPurrs
I am not good at expressing these types of feelings and thoughts, I am usually the one with a joke or quote.
I think others above have said it better than I can, Pam you have been a fixture of this forum family since before I joined, you have always been helpful and encouraging which is fresh these days when so many people are ready to put down ‘noobs’.
You explore, broaden and share your knowledge.
We haven’t spoken, but I feel we have met over text
And I echo Andre’s sentiments above, Sara you are doing a great job supporting Pam and I hope you are looking after yourself as well.
Pam and Sara, you are loved by people who have never even met you. That’s a pretty great place to be.
Peace be upon you both.
We will all see you soon enough.
Pam we never really spoke on the forum, but I can tell you’re very well loved here! Thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time!
All,
I have sent all your thoughts to Sara, she has read them all to Pam.
If anyone else wants to send a message, now is the time.
Prayers for you and your loved ones from Međugorje
Been off the forum for a while, @PamPurrs .
You were always a highlight. What a life, and what a personality.
It was an honour to make your acquaintance, however brief. Keep on truckin’ Pam.
