Two songs I’ve been playing daily for the past few weeks, both songs have one challenging section that I haven’t totally dialed in yet but its getting better.
Together these two songs add up to almost 30 minutes of play time, sweet… 
Eh, my list is alphabetized-so I’m into silversun pickups today. But as they are one of my favorite bands I’ve played their stuff a lot. But I’m working on a couple that elude my basic skill set. currency of love and empty nest. Neither of them is specifically hard, just something happening there that i haven’t locked into yet. (Sigh) guess this is what practice is for 
Transmission – Joy Division
This is one I keep coming back to every few months. I can play it at speed but I haven’t gotten it to sound correct yet.
I think that it’s a good plan to practice songs above your pay grade…
Along with songs you’ve not played before…
The Cure - Seventeen Seconds (this is getting much easier)
The Cure - Lovesong (I still can’t play this one in the normal speed)
Coldplay - Sparks (just started this week, it is so relaxing)
Pixies - Where is my Mind (it’s a fun riff to play)
A fun one off that album is Play for Today too!
Plus, of course, A Forest.

Just go for it and try Another Journey by Train.
That too is awesome. We will never run out of great The Cure songs to play.
Other Voices is on my list, but 16th notes are still a new thing to me. I’m still a beginner and working on developing my speed.
Well as usual I start working on a couple of songs, then get distracted and play something else!
I was practising I’m only happy when it rains, as I’m overdue another Garbage song, and its one off the 50 songs list, but…
I’ve been listening to a lot of Linkin Park lately, and it’s rekindled my need to play more of them too. Plus, one is a piano and bass song, that I have spent a long time learning to play the piano chords for.
So, in no particular order;

5 Linkin Park songs 
The “Working on” list on Songsterrrrrrrrrrrrr is now at 31 songs. Some are more seriously being worked on than others. Some are very long-term projects.
4 or 5 are primary WIP. More would be primary tunes if they weren’t in non-standard tunings. I’m lazy and don’t want to change tunings. I keep my secondary bass in D# for that purpose, but the lazy also keeps me from switching basses mid-practice session.
This sounds so familiar to me. I do that all the time. I have a list of songs I’m working on, but then suddenly something else comes to mind, I look for tabs + sheet music, and if I find it, I might spend hours working on it.
I usually think “I will just search for it and save it for later” but…
Today someone mentioned Tim Pope’s “I Want to Be a Tree” and suddenly I was searching for bass tabs Fortunately I didn’t find them and gave up quickly (usually I don’t give up that easily). But I have better things to play.
It’s a funny song, though. Tim Pope is a funny guy.
Wasn’t a Pixies fan until I started playing bass. Lots of fun stuff from them. Many good ones by the Cranberries, too.
Same here! Actually the latest song I decided to play for hours was Here Comes Your Man. I didn’t mention it in my message above, but it’s such a funny coincidence that you brought up Pixies. I’ve been also playing Where Is My Mind. It’s one of the few songs with 16th notes I can play, they are still difficult to me.
Josh’s course broadened my mind with his choices of exercise songs. I didn’t know Cake. I started enjoying other kinds of music because I like the basslines.

I have completed Adele : Rolling in the Deep from the 50 song challenge. However, in the forum Category ‘50 Songs Challenge’ I cannot find a topic to put my comment in. Do I click the button New Topic or does an admin ?
Adele isn’t part of the 50 Songs Challenge. Recently there were 50 more songs added to the song pack, making it 100 in total. But the challenge was made when there were only 50 songs in the song pack, and the challenge list is still only the 50 original songs as listed here:
Not sure if there are any plans to expand it. Generally song covers not in the challenge go in the “Post Your Covers” thread, but it might be nice to have a thread or threads for the other song pack songs.
