Code Redhead…just sayin’.
My sincere apologies sir!
Just watched “The Gorge” on NetFlix! Pretty crazy if you like this sort of Syfy/horror. Some creatures looked like “Fear Of The Dark” Eddies!
What? One next to him was lock and load!,
Just re watch the good place, for how good the first season was. Holy forking shirt ball,
One of my fave shows. Always end up crying during the final episode.
The White Lotus, season 3. Shot in Thailand. Beautifully directed, shot and acted, just as the first two seasons were.
I had to stop watch it in two parts because I was crying so much.
That was my Covid quarantine binge show. It’s great!
Wait… Bezos bought the Bond franchise? Why, to cast himself as the villain?
Game of champions.
Unfortunately they have pretty much taken the biff out of it in regular club games here but especially State of Origin, which are the 3 big games every year.
It used to be guaranteed that there would be an all-in with claret spilled in the first 5 minutes followed by some of the best Rugby League you’d see all year.
Now they are sent off for harsh language and dirty looks (not quite).
Still the best games of league all year.
The next best is any Rugby with the All Blacks, who are pretty much guaranteed to kick our butts.
We finally weakened and got Netflix.
Just finished The Mist- was there meant to be another series?
And The Sandman.
Now I am just getting into The Witcher
been really impressed with “the pitt” on max — basically a spiritual successor to “er” — extremely well acted and very intense. if you like medical dramas i very highly recommend.
if you like something also medical but more historical and visually artistic i loved loved loved “the knick” — also streaming on max. this is a turn of the century medical drama from steven soderberg who directs every episode. it is truly brilliant. even more highly recommended.
I got hooked on Rugby League during three business trips to Sydney around '97. Peeps who only know Rugby Union don’t know what they’re missing. I lived in Chicago at the time, so I picked the North Sydney Bears to cheer for. I went to one of their matches and got to visit their club. After my third and final business trip, I lost track of them. I couldn’t find anything online about their current standings and matches. I found out much later that they had been kicked out of the league for improprieties. Sigh. I never have much luck with the teams I choose to support.
A small taste of Origin, the thing to remember about Origin is that they take the best of all the club teams, mid season, and divide them by State.
The week before and the week after, some of the guys hitting each other will be on the same team.
Beautiful.
Ugh… this would qualify as the one time where I’d really prefer to eat broccoli
(sorry for the bad pun)
