The wireless guitar transmitter and receiver work really well. I don’t notice any latency. There is a bit of a hiss though so I have to see what I can do to get rid of that I didn’t play with any of the nerd nobs so it’s likely one of them.

My PC died last night so I didn’t get a chance to record to test that. Hope to have it back today.

Are you sure that it is not the audio interface?
I discovered today, that my otherwise great Motu M4 has some hiss in certain circumstances, even when directly connected to some really great headphones!

I tested connected to my amp. Well, Through the B1 Zoom->amp.

This isn’t the headphone transmitter/receiver.
I haven’t tested that one yet.

Do you have a video monitor or TV in the vicinity of your playing area?

Usually it’s the router or a mobile phone that could lead to issues with 2.4Ghz devices.
But they do not account for hiss in my opionion, it’s more “crackling” etc.
Which I don’t have with that device, by the was…

First test with a clean source, best is something that is not on a power supply to rule out challenges here.
Audio interfaces with certain software can be a challenge for hiss (in my case the Motu M4 and Tonelib in ASIO mode using software guitar effects).

The guitar remote is 5.8 GHz so it shouldn’t be radio interference.

It’s barely noticeable and not much of an inconvenience. I’ll play around with it when I have time.

I tested the headphone remote using my laptop in my some headphones and I just did a support call with them and it turned out great

What did they say?

Sorry, let me clarify. I work software support and I was on a call with a customer and they worked fantastically

So I just did a test with my son and I’m not sure what was picking up my voice but it certainly wasn’t the headphones as the transmitter and receiver are not bi-directional so something else must have been picking up my voice as it sounded like I was talking from across the room. So this is not a solution for support calls. I would have to find a remote that is both a receiver and transmitter

Good evening all. Looking at the Fender Mustang Micro Guitar Amp so I can stream the “Beginner to Badass” course and practice with headphones. I’d appreciate any feedback on the Mustang Micro as well as alternative products. Thanks!

I have it!
It’s a good little device and sounds OK. I prefer my Spark GO though, as it is a little more versatile in terms of effects and the little Speaker.
I even used the Spark speaker when practicing in south France Cafés on a trip last summer. You can’t go loud, bass is a little lacking (in speaker mode), but it’s quite OK.
