:astonished:

I need to practice a lot more. This would be impressive for a grown adult to be able to play perfectly.

I love how long the guitar/bass argument goes. Also PJ for metal? There out here bucking all kinda of trends.

Rules never applied to Misa. She’s pretty badass.

Flo Moore out of the UK:

Nice bass!

The first female bassist that comes to my mind is Ale Villereal from The Warning.

How about Sara Lee?
I’m not sure if she has already been mentioned in this thread.
She has done a lot of impressive work with many artists.
I saw her play live with the B-52s.
She played in Robert Fripp’s League of Gentlemen.
Here is an example:

She was also in Gang of Four. I love her bass on I Love a Man in a Uniform.

Note, Cherie Curie is no longer in the band when this was recorded

She’s awesome. She took over in GoF when Dave Allen left and did really well. That band was lucky with bassists.

maybe some people wouldn’t expect a fashion model to also be a kick ass bassist, but Charlotte Kemp Muhl is taking over low end duties from JMJ on St Vincents current tour :+1:

Just came across an article about The Dandy Warhols, and remembered they have a female bass player: Zia McCabe.

She also plays keyboards and percussion, and she’s a DJ!
