7 Days to Learning Bass (Beginner Lesson)

Time to get badass - this complete practice routine will teach you to lock with a beat and crank out solid bass lines in 7 days.

If you’re doing the Beginner to Badass course, this lesson would fit best after Module 4. You could do it sooner, but you might find it easier once you’ve got some technique basics down.

I thought so as well. I couldn’t help but think of the vegan bass player from Scott Pilgrim…

Great video! Yay @NoobJosh!

Hey, @JoshFossgreen? So, I noticed there’s a “new” URL (which only means I hadn’t noticed it yet) in the video notes (yeah dot bassbuzz dot com slash 7days). I was clicking around on it, like I do, and discovered that while the 7days part works, if you go to the root of the site, it redirects to a different site. Just thought you might want know, in case.

I picture Nic Cage in real life being exactly like his character in that movie.

Lovely video! I wish I had access to friendly, fun materials like this when I was a teenager (back in the age of dial-up modems.) I’m happy to see how close you are to 500K subscribers. Can we throw a little party in the forum when you get there?

Edit: It just hit me what Josh’s teaching/presenting/comedy style reminds me of: the original '90s Bill Nye the Science Guy show on PBS.

Delightfully nostalgic evidence:
