A little music related fun (Part 2)

I think that maybe I have only seen the original and the final. Saw the original in the theater. Unfortunately, I swear someone spiked the soda fountain with LSD. Any time Harrison Ford said anything philosophical, the crowd roared! Really wrecked the experinece.

Have you read the book?

Batman for me, and it really sucked. Almost like they changed directors after the first thirty minutes. Final scene was a total non-sequitur.

Still have two gift passes that never expire from back when movies were under $10!

Since this thread is originally intended to be about music related fun, movie buffs need a place to wax poetic about films. Et voila!

This might already too late as I told him to go and secure both Mc and Mark Levinson’s pre on his last trip. My wife and 2 daughters is going back next month then again I doubt I’d ask her to bring any back, although the thought has crossed my mind about bring back my Ken Smith.

Hell, yeah, man. Have the little lady tote the Ken Smith home. Your shed is looking a tad sparse without it. :speak_no_evil_monkey:

Yeah. He spends a lot of time obsessing over an artificial goat he can’t afford and he’s also married.

It’s been a while since I’ve read it.

I’ll have her check the case. If the case has the invoice inside I’ll have her bring it back. It didn’t cost me near what’s it’s worth now, if I’m getting taxed from this it would not be fun. :joy:

You don’t need to have the invoice for US Customs to let it in without charging any duty on it.

When I bought my EBMM Cutlass from a dude in New Zealand, I asked a friend of mine who is an importer/exporter what I should ask the guy to do so I wouldn’t have to pay duty on it. I told him the bass was made in America, and the guy purchased it in NZ.

He said to have the seller write on the shipping box that the instrument was made in the USA, and to declare that it was returning to America “for repairs.”

That worked like a charm. My Cutlass arrived at LAX, went through customs without a hitch, and made it to me, safe and sound.

I’ve read the Phillip K. Dick short novel but not the movie’s novelization.

This must be the right thread, it was certainly music related fun.
We had a jam today and found a funny keyboard setting.
The bass is the 1978 Ibanez I did surgery on to resurrect.
