I enjoy his channel, especially the “What Makes This Song Great” series. Most of the time he gets in the weeds and his analyses are over my head.
What is the consensus from folks here of him?

If I may inquire further (for learning of course) what is it that might turn folks off? I do not see him as conceited. He is a salesman and pushes his materials (we all gotta eat.) My negative is that he is WAY over my head on the theory (hope to change that when I sign up for Josh’s course this winter.)
I do like that he will “hear” things and point those out when he dives into songs. …and many times I will never hear a song the same way after his analysis. I like the interviews with musicians- Peter Frampton, Jon Anderson to name a couple.
I guess I am curious as to criticisms of him if folks are comfortable critiquing him further… you won’t hurt my feelings.
