a bit rididulous (more a “performance” than really a music thing) but still cool and enjoyeable

I can proficiently play The Birthday Song in F, C, and G on the piano or bass, but nothing like this fellow. He puts me to shame.
Very entertaining to watch and listen though

An odd thing that I practice bass to late at night is ambient music mixed in with either airport chatter or police / fire channel. It’s a weird mix for sure, but you can choose which channel you want to listen in on and jump through the music. I get that this is VERY niche!

There are many different, deep levels to our @Barney.

Side note: I find it amazing that no one in air traffic control or a cockpit ever says “What did you say?”

You do sometimes. Usually something like “Tower, Cessna 1245B, say again?”

@howard is absolutely correct. Standard VP (Voice Procedure) is to use the phrase ‘say again’ if you didn’t understand.
It sounds complicated but as someone who spent a long time in Air Operations it’s not really.
The ATC have a fixed set of runways, taxiways, pans etc. They’re all static locations. So you’re asking a kite to move to / from a fixed point. Then it’s a case of call-signs. You know your own, so then it’s just the ones out there. But there’s a big map or equivalent showing those kites and the associated callsign. You normally have someone assisting you telling you who is coming in next.
Sure it gets busy, but the principles are simple. Aircraft is on final, they confirm the runway they’re landing on, you tell them where to go. Get them off onto a taxiway. Line the next one up.
It gets more interesting when you’re out in the field but it’s the same idea. Each aircraft has an individual call-sign so you can keep track of who’s who and what they’re doing.
I find listening oddly relaxing. I know it’s strange but harmless

@John_E when people ask me what I used to do in the military. I’d say “You know when you call for a cab and some one answers the phone and gets it to where you are?” “Yeah, well that was me, the only difference was each taxi cost 25 million to buy and about 5000 an hour to run”

In the Army while working in communications, we were taught to never say “repeat” over the radio because that’s what the artillery guys use as a command to fire another round. Instead, standard practice is to say something like, “Say again” or “say your location again” , etc.
It’s also very common for ATC or cockpit crew to use the term “Say again” over the airwaves.
Now decades after my military service, I still use the term “say again” instead of asking someone to repeat what they said.

I don’t ask people to repeat what they said very often. I find whatever their saying to be fairly useless anyway :rofl::rofl:
