The music that shaped me came from the 70s. America, Bread, Dan Folgleberg, BeeGees, Disco, turned my back on them all for Ramones and Dead Kennedy’s

I owned that exact Gremlin, maybe a different year (mine was a 1973) but it was the same color. The wipers did not work, nor did the radio. One of the front wheels canted outward and wore down the inner edge of the tire really bad. But, it was mine.

I had the misfortune to own it’s big brother the Austin Montego. It used more oil than petrol, had a gearbox that was like stirring porridge and was by far the nastiest car I had ever driven.

My dad taught me to drive in our AMC American Rambler station wagon. 3-on the column. I damn near killed that thing’s transmission with my newbie clutchwork. And the yelling didn’t help. 
Ugly little car with a puny straight-6, but I was a big man on campus ‘cause I drove to school. Off-campus lunch at Whataburger with the guys was worth everything.

Y’all are gonna retch but that’s fine. More for me:
I’m lactose intolerant so I always get anchovies instead of cheese.
And I don’t eat red meat, so I usually order BBQ Chicken.
So yes, a dairy-free BBQ chicken pizza with anchovies.
