I’m afraid I only know how to restore old pickguards - they do look perfectly after restoration though:
What’s great about my approach is that you can use the original pickguard, change it to any colour you like, even when you changed the pickup cavities.
I went through several iterations to do it perfectly, much to the amusement of some here…

That would be very easy to do using my method. You could even do the control plate in a matching colour…
