Fantastic bass! I have the 5-string version.

Keep an eye on talkbass and reverb. You can get used for a lot less (I did). People seem to really take good care of Laklands.
I was so close to a 504 and had it in order then the Lakland of my dreams came up used and cancelled the 604.

Oh! @Melelhidril before I forget, if you do end up ordering a Lakland, I highly recommend signing up for their email newsletter (scroll to the bottom of the page). They email you periodically with deals of their B stock that are often ~33% off.
I wish I had known about it before - could have saved myself $500

I’m 100% in the market for an Aerodyne, but am I the only one who thinks the new designs are ummmm… less than aesthetically pleasing? I’m even a huge fan of both lake placid blue AND maple fretboards and love the look of my Stingray
But these new Aeros somehow look like a cheap replica to me.
I’m close to pulling the trigger on an older MIJ aero like this:
