Ha! I’m the opposite but I am a real sucker for dark red, purple or blue bursts.
Yeah my MIJ Fender as well, which was made by FujiGen. Along with pots wired better than I can solder myself, and the best output jack I have ever seen (waaaay better than Switchcraft). It’s also got an unadvertised rolled fretboard and the the nicest fret job I have felt on a production instrument in a while. FujiGen makes good stuff.
I also kinda dig this Lakland Shoreline I found on reverb… Even though that yellow-green(?)ish color is usually not my favorite
Yep. I got the parts to replace the electronics on my FGN and didn’t replace anything. Would not have been an upgrade.
And yes a great fretboard. Only thing it lacks is a string tree for the A string. But I feel like I have MIA Fender quality - no joke
Lots to like about a Lakeland.
The color is not too bad
Love those bridges
Was about to say if Yamaha and Schecter had a lovechild it would look like this!
I’m not a fan of green either, but that bass sure does wear it well
It’s a very pretty bass, but it could use a better color for the burst.
That is bad ass
It definitely is. They have sound samples on the website. One PJ to rule them all.
Now that’s something that separates a fella (or gal) from their hard earned dollars.
$3500.00

…the wait begins.
I just requested satin finish on the neck. I am a big fan of roasted necks too, but I stuck with the walnut and maple. In my mind roasted would make it brighter. But who are we kidding, blind folded I would be guessing at which was which.
